The wild&domestic sanctury was established like non profit otganization and it started to work in October, 2005. It is situated 18 km from the center of Podgorica and occupies about 50 000 m2 natural area full of meadows, woods and pastures. With an excelent team of vets, researchers and animal lovers succeeds to accept and recover animals which were wounded, have no shelter or home or are too young to survive alone.

After wild animals recover, the sanctuary has assignment to return them to wilderness while domestic ones are homed in households were they are wanted and kept according to our sanctury’s regulations. Animals which are incapable to live alone in nature and those of protected species stay on the land permanently.

The whole work of this center is completelly voluntary. All care about animals, all necessary work for expansion of the sanctuary and purchase of food during the past 10 years has been covered only with the sanctury member’s finances. Further development of the center depends on financial resources which we are planning to secure through sponsorships and donations and all of this because of growing needs and an increasing number of animals. If you want to support work of this organization you can do it by donating money, food, medicine, vet services or construction materials. Any help is appreciated.
